A Timeless Resting Place in Tranquil Surroundings

Burial Arrangements at Dean Cemetery

We understand that purchasing a burial plot is a significant decision, and we want to make the process as clear as possible. Below, you’ll find the costs associated with purchasing a burial or cremation plot, Interment and placing a memorial stone or plaque.

For details on finding the ideal plot, contact our superintendent, John Duffy, who will show you our available plots.

Plot Prices (One-time purchase)

Purchasing a plot grants the holder Right of Burial for a specific plot within the cemetery. The price varies depending on the location within the cemetery and whether it’s a full burial or cremation plot required. Dean Cemetery is split into three sections: Old Ground (Established in 1846), Middle Ground (Established in 1873) and Edgehill (Established in 1891).

Funeral & Burial Fees

These are the costs associated with the interment (burial or placement of ashes) in the plot you have purchased.

Memorial Fees

Once a burial or cremation has taken place, you may wish to place a monument, plaque, or stone in memory of your loved one. Below are the Cemetery’s fees for the installation of a Headstone, Wall plaque or Turf stone. These charges are one-off. The permit fee is charged when any changes are made to existing stones, additional lettering, cleaning etc.
